My name is Eileen, and I’m excited to serve as this term’s Vice President of the Manitoba Chinese Youth Committee (MCYC)!
I’m currently a grade 11 student and for the past two years, I’ve been part of my school’s international student community, which inspired me to take on a leadership role in MCYC. I aim to create a welcoming space where youth can connect, learn about Chinese culture, and strengthen the community.
Outside of MCYC, I’m passionate about photography, art, and figure skating. You’ll often find me behind the camera capturing moments from our events or designing promotional materials to help spread the word about our work. I also enjoy volunteering at cultural events like Folklorama, where I’ve had the chance to meet amazing people who share a love for celebrating Chinese heritage.
I look forward to working with all of you to grow MCYC and positively impact our community!
