“The role of the WCCCC is to provide a platform for cultural understanding and exchange, with the goal to promote cultural diversity at the heart of downtown Winnipeg. The Centre helps to facilitate businesses in the Chinatown area, and acts as a catalyst to promote Chinese business locally and nationally. The Centre consists of a gymnasium, a fully serviceable kitchen, and a dancing room are open to the public for hosting events and classes. The library and museum consist of an excellent collection of Chinese book and selected artifacts for people interested in learning Chinese literature and history. In addition, the Centre has offer a variety of classes, from sports to calligraphy to elementary computer use for seniors.”
